NEW FOR 2012
I'm sure that some of you noticed my new picture at the top of the blog. We (my Mom & I) are going to open our own store it will be a subsidiary of my sister's shop Desert Diamond Crochet. We will be selling a variety of crochet items as well as hand sewn items. We may even do consignment for the other members of the Manley Hot Springs Crafter's Guild. If we do then we will have a large variety of items including but not limited to fur items, painted woodcrafts, knited socks, custom sweaters, home decor items, etc..etc..etc.... I will post a link to the shop as soon as it is up and running.
Well our new year celebration consisted of staying inside alot due to -50*F temps. We had a dinner of bean soup made with white beans and leftover Christmas ham. We were in bed by 8:00pm but I was up alot in the night stoking the fire. Someone in the area did fireworks. I started hearing them at midnight and they went until 2am. With the outdoor temps and the lack of insulation in the 5th wheel (were we sleep) it kept getting cold. I would stoke the fire and it would get hot then eventually cold again. So, the kids were up alot. Then at one point the girls outside (Quinn & Pam) started barking at something. Needless to say I entered the new year running on very little sleep.
Sorry for a short post but I felt a need to explain the new top picture. I hope that everyones new year is off to a good start. Please keep us in your prayers that Ken can get steady work and that the temps will warm up a bit. I'm not picky anything -30*F or above would be fine ;)
Blessings - Sarah
Hosea 8:1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. KJV
